2006 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape Télégramme(France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape)
A blend of 90% grenache and 10% Mourvedre, the 2006 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape Télégramme shows ripe aromatics of blackberry, licorice, minerals and garrigue.  This leads into a medium to full bodied palate that has ripe, rich fruit, a savory texture and ripe fine grained tannins.  Billed as a second wine but certainly the equal of many a first. (90 pts.)
