Drinking at maturity, the 2000 Bosquet des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape offers up perfumed and nuanced notes of fennel, licorice, ripe herbs and garrigue aromas that are framed by sweet red fruit notes. Medium bodied on the palate with a smooth, clean texture, nice balance and a medium length finish. This should drink beautifully over the next 5′ish years. (88 pts.)
