Domaine Saint Benoit

A small family run estate that was founded in 1989 by the combination of 4 family holdings. Today, the estate covers 26 hectares and has an average vine age of over 40 years (with 5 vines planted in 1902). The wine making is run by Marc and Annie Cellier.
This estate makes numerous blends including the Cuvee Laureline (40% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 25% Mourvedre), the Cuvee XIII (30% Mourvedre, 30% Grenache, 30% Syrah and composed of the other 10 varietals allowed in the appellation), and the Cuvee Grande Garde (39% Grenache, 33% Mourvedre, 22% Syrah, 6% Cinsault). Each varietal is vinified serpeately and the grapes are partially destemmed.and undergo a 21 day maceration. Annual production is ~8000 cases for the red blend.
